AI audits 500 listings while you sleep. You tap Approve once over coffee
Each night an AI reads your live listings and lists the problems it finds: wrong sizes, missing details, bad photo order, new marketplace rules. You tap No on anything you disagree with and Approve once for the rest.
Hundreds of listings checked nightly; fixes applied in one tap a day
- Time to set up
- A couple of weeks across several versions
- Cost
- Model usage for the read, well under a dollar a night

The problem
A store of several hundred listings drifts: a wrong size here, a missing item specific there, a listing the marketplace now wants an FCC ID on. Nobody audits by hand.
The workflow
- At night the agent reads every live listing through the official API. Read-only.
- It checks each against the store's own rules: title words, size format, item specifics, category, photo count and order, compliance flags such as FCC ID for radio devices.
- Proposed fixes go into one batch with the exact before and after per change and a link to the live listing.
- In the morning the seller opens the batch on a phone, taps No on anything they disagree with, and Approve once.
- The approved batch goes to a separate process that re-reads each listing before changing it and reads it back afterwards. Declined changes are remembered.
The rule that makes it safe
The agents that read and propose never write. The write step only runs on an approved batch, one change at a time, with a fresh read first.
For your store
Our honest estimate from running this. Your store and numbers will differ.
- What you need
- eBay API access and someone who can build with an AI coding tool. Not a beginner setup.
- First try takes
- Weeks. Ours went through several versions.
- First step tonight
- Write your store's rules down: title format, size format, the item specifics you always fill in. An audit can only check rules that exist on paper.
- After a week
- A rulebook you can check 20 listings against by hand in an evening. Automating it comes later.
Tools in this one
- Claude Code Agent that writes and runs code on your own computer. How most of the Beartooth tools were built.
- ChatGPT OpenAI's assistant. Good second opinion on vintage calls and pricing.
- eBay API Official way for your own software to read listings, orders and traffic. Browser bots are against eBay's terms; the API is not.
