All setups · Listing, Scheduling
Knee surgery, three weeks off, and the store still listed 5 a day. The setup
Draft everything before you go, then either schedule listings up to three weeks ahead on eBay or keep them as ready drafts you publish from your phone. Your store keeps its daily rhythm either way.
What happened in our store
The store keeps listing daily through two weeks of recovery

The problem
Stores that stop listing lose momentum in search. Surgery, a trip or a busy week can stop you listing for days.
The workflow
- Shoot and draft everything you can in the week before. An AI can sort the photos and write the drafts, and you approve each one.
- Then pick the way you like to work:
- Scheduled listings. eBay lets you schedule a listing up to three weeks ahead. Set five a day, fast sellers and in-season items first, and they go live on their own.
- Ready drafts. If you prefer to decide each day, keep them as finished drafts and publish from your phone in a minute. Same preparation, you keep the control.
- Give big items a location in the SKU, for example "Upstairs closet", so whoever packs can find them.
- The morning pack list and the 30-day slow-seller check keep running, and approvals work from a phone.
What happened
We wrote this entry the day of a knee surgery with three weeks of listings already scheduled. The store kept listing five a day through recovery.
For your store
Our honest estimate from running this. Your store and numbers will differ.
- What you need
- Finished drafts and eBay's scheduled listing option, or drafts you can publish from the app.
- First try takes
- A few minutes per listing to schedule, once the drafts are done.
- First step tonight
- Count your finished drafts. Schedule the next week at the same number per day, best sellers first.
- After a week
- A week of listings that went live without you, and a clear sense of whether you prefer scheduling or publishing each morning.
Tools in this one
- eBay API Official way for your own software to read listings, orders and traffic. Browser bots are against eBay's terms; the API is not.
- Claude Code Agent that writes and runs code on your own computer. How most of the Beartooth tools were built.
